Meet The Team

We bring a unique approach to catering by joining the traditional with a fresh and creative view. We are members of the International Caterers’ Association and hold all appropriate licenses and certifications.

Co Owner

Joseph Van Noy developed his skills in the catering business by working for one of the largest west coast caterers at such events as the Black & White Ball and the San Francisco Opera Opening Galas. His talents include fine traditional Italian cuisine complemented with the creative flair of the new generation. He has designed systems that allow him and his team to feed hundreds to thousands of guests while creating the feel of a personal one-on-one  experience. He is the owner of City Lights Café on Lake Merritt in Oakland.

Christine Lucchesi Van Noy always dreamed of being a successful restaurateur. While working as a corporate vice president for Kaiser Permanente she developed extensive experience in producing fundraisers for the American Cancer Society’s Sky Baron Ball; American Heart Associations’ Gala, and the Breast Cancer Stamp Fundraiser to name a few. She has designed events throughout Northern California always with a stylish flair and lots of creativity.
